Farmers Market

Did you know that the Old State House Farmers Market is the oldest of its kind in Connecticut?

In 1643, Hartford was required to establish a “weekly market” at the site of the Old State House. Today, we continue the tradition of supplying fresh-off-the-farm produce to the public by hosting the Old State House Farmers Market. The goal of the Old State House Farmers Market is to offer as wide a variety of products from as many Connecticut farmers and artisans as possible within the available space. We are committed to offering a vibrant marketplace in downtown Hartford where local farmers and artisans can enjoy coming together with the community to share the “best” of what Connecticut has to offer!

Open Tuesdays & Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
